Introduction to the ColdSpring Framework Presentation

I'm pleased to announce that Adobe Community Expert, Brian Rinaldi is presenting "Introduction to the ColdSpring Framework" to Devon CFUG tomorrow evening from 6:30 UK time. As the session is going to be over connect, I'm willing to open it up to anyone who would like to join us.

Here's an overview of the session:

Introduction to the ColdSpring Framework

The ColdSpring framework for ColdFusion was originally modeled after the Spring framework for Java for handling dependency injection (DI), inversion of control (IoC) and aspect oriented programming (AOP). However, this complex sounding terminology often obscures the incredible usefulness of the framework for people new to it. This presentation will focus specifically on what problems you will encounter in a service oriented architecture that ColdSpring can help you solve. We'll cover the basics of configuring ColdSpring and how to use DI, IoC and AOP to solve real world problems.

About the Presenter

Brian Rinaldi is an applications developer for Pongo Resume, Adobe Community Expert, manager of the Boston ColdFusion User Group and organizer of Flex Camps in Boston and Miami. Brian is most well known for his efforts promoting open-source projects in ColdFusion, especially for maintaining the ColdFusion open-source list as well as the weekly updates, both of which you can find via his web site at http://www.remotesynthesis.com
