How I started in ColdFusion

My entry for Steve Bryant's "How I got started in ColdFusion day".

This really should be titled, "ColdFusion, chips or both" as that pretty much sums up my highly planned career strategy. I studied music and music technology at college intending to be the next Steve Vai but it never quite worked out, so I ended up as a peripatetic music teacher at various schools. As I knew a little bit about computers I sometimes would sort out computer issues. I even ended up sequencing the entire musical scores for Oliver and Bugsy Malone which were then used by the school to put on the musicals as school productions. Anyway, this lead to a job running an IT network at the local technology college and one lunchtime I was walking to the local chip shop (that's french fries to you guys on the other side of the pond) and saw an advert in a window for a trainee web developer. The company primarily used ColdFusion (v4.5 if I recall) and here I am many years later still developing in ColdFusion.

P.S. Although ColdFusion rocks, I'm still hoping for the career in Rock n Roll...

I take it that's a buttered roll with extra sauce with my chips? :)
